HBTL is a social enterprise established in 2000 and owned by a consortium of Nepalese Himalayan community groups. HBTL is one of the pioneer and leading natural product manufacturing and marketing company based in Kathmandu. HBTL owners are the residents of the Himalayas and have a passion to contribute to the happiness of the world communities through sustainable and ethical promotion of Himalayan natural products of unique fragrance, flavors and cultural values. The company is led by a Board of Directors comprising three members and 17 full time staffs work on a regular basis. In addition to this, it employs part time employees according to the workload. More than two decades of its operation, HBTL has promoted a wide range of certified organic, certified wildlife friendly and fair- trade natural products of the highest quality and purity. These included: essential oils, vegetable oils, raw herbs, handmade paper products, Himalayan nettle products, and more recently personal care products, cosmetics and fragrances from wild plant species found in the Himalayas.
