Wanna know how we process our natural products ?
HBTL and it's village enterprises lead the way in producing and marketing the only FSC, Organic and Wildlife Friendly certified essential oils in the world. The aromatic plants are harvested from responsibly managed forests and organic farms by villagers, distilled by local communities and quality controlled and packaged by HBTL for sale to national and international markets.
Vegetable oils are the source of personal care products and cosmetics ingredients. In Nepal, these oils have been used mainly for cooking purposes. Vegetable oils are expelled from wild plant seeds, using a traditional and mechanical oil expellers and a thorough post filtration or purification process.
HBTL's handmade paper is crafted from Lokta bark (Daphne bholua/D. papyracea), responsibly harvested from certified Himalayan forests. The rural indigenous communities who manage the forests have established an innovative model enterprise, and produce a wide range of paper products, which are then custom dyed, printed and assembled in HBTL's Kathmandu facilities.
HBTL's vast range of FSC, Organic and Wildlife Friendly certified products includes handmade Paper products, Essential oils, Himalayan nettle products, Raw Herbs, Vegetable Oils from wild species and recently introduced natural based Personal Care Products derived from HBTL's own organic certified raw materials.
HBTL and it's community enterprises have received Organic, OneCert and Wildlife Friendly Certification.
The work and seriousness of the HBTL company is remarkable. We really appreciated the quality of the products and the friendliness of the staff, in particular Neelam my interlocutor whom I met twice.
As a major global supplier of Essential Oils in bulk to Aromatherapy, Flavor & Fragrance companies, we would be most interested in developing a relationship with a socially & environmental responsible company like yourselves
